Basel carnival

The Basler Fasnacht begins on Monday at 04.00 o'clock and means three days of state of exception. The "drey scheenschte Dääg", as the people of Basel call them, are also a unique experience for visitors. Around 20,000 active carnival revellers make music during the three days.
